Lacey Keen
A native of Denver CO, Lacey spent her formative years in Jacksonville Fl. She earned her B.S. degree in Interior Design and minor in Art from Meredith College in Raleigh NC. After graduation she moved to Atlanta, GA, where she practiced design for 11 years. During this time she did residential, hospitality, retail, and commercial design, as well as worked on the manufacturing and sales side. Late 2012 brought her back to her hometown and in 2013 to Del Mar Designs.
Lacey sees design as a cohesive event, where every decision affects another. This can look random or precise, but still requires proper planning and execution. Her love of the arts make color and texture a favorite component and is typically how she will start a project. Lacey prides herself on her ability to develop projects of all size, budget, and style. Her goal is to create an environment that is both aesthetic and functional for her valued clients.
Lacey’s projects include model homes and clubhouses throughout the Southeast. She has specialized in developing student apartment complexes in several major college cities. Her beginnings in Atlanta were filled with Buckhead residences, many being published in magazines. She has been active on several design industry boards- to include the IIDA Atlanta Awards committee, NEWH Atlanta Membership chair, NAIOP Jacksonville member, and most recently IIDA North Florida Cocktail Couture chairmanship.
