Helena K. Stern
A native of Chicago, Helena earned a B.A. from Drake University as well as from the Interior Design Internship (Denver).
With more than 30 years of experience in the field of interior design, Helena is a fully licensed interior designer in the State of Florida (ID-0004086), and an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers. In addition, she is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), providing design services to improve the lives of not only the aging population, but those suffering from disability, injury or infirmity. Her distinctively beautiful designs additionally serve to enhance her customers’ quality of life, enabling them to maximize, remain in and enjoy the comfort and function of their homes and workplace.
Helena’s projects include many properties in Jacksonville and the Beaches communities as well as in Chicago and Denver. She has participated in numerous designer show homes sponsored by the ASID in cooperation with and benefitting both the Jacksonville Symphony Association and the Junior Symphony Guild in Denver. Her work has been published in Colorado Homes and Lifestyles, Florida Design and Jacksonville Magazine. Helena’s community activities have included volunteer services to Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House, and the Ponte Vedra Chamber of Commerce. She is an active member of the Remodeler’s Council of the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA), and the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB). She was the 2015 NEFBA Remodelers Council winner for best “Planning and Design, Specialty Room”.
